Wrestler Sushil Kumar Wins Bronze Medal for India in 2008 Beijing Olympics Games.
One more Olympic Medal for India in Beijing Olympics. This time it is Wrestler Sushil Kumar who become the proud of India by winning Bronze Medal. He found place in the history of Indian sports when he won the bronze medal in men’s 66kg freestyle category at the Beijing Olympics. Sushil thus became the second Indian wrestler after K D Jadhav who won a bronze in the 1952 Helsinki Games to win an Olympic medal.
Sushil Kumar defeated Leonid Speiridonov of Kazakhstan to grab the bronze. Sushil Kumar was coached by Arjuna award winner Satpal.
