  • Get busy => Don’t watch TV all day. Make a list of things that you always wanted to do– skillsets you wanted to add, movies you wanted to see, catching up with friends, recreational activities like gardening or things you have wanted to learn and see that you do them, at least one a day. Alternatively, you may join a library, go for walks, tone up your body.

Learn to type better your computer skills, do voluntary work for charities or simply offer your services free of charge to a company wher you really would like to work. With more experience, chances are that you will find employment more easily. Don’t forget to update your CV and send it to as many places as possible.
  • Job Search=> Don’t stop looking for work, even if you’re feeling low. Scan the employment section of newspapers. Check the Internet for job ads. Make calls to ex-employers and friends to convey that you are looking for work.
  • Keep depression at bay=> Unless you’ve councelled yourself or found someone to counsell you, it’s highly probable that there will be days you simply feel very down. Meet people, catch up with friends. Keep doing constructive things.
  • Find ways to earn money=> Freelancin, running errands or doin casual work may fetch you big bucks.
